Περιελθετε εν ταις οδοις της Ιερουσαλημ και ιδετε τωρα και μαθετε και ζητησατε εν ταις πλατειαις αυτης, εαν δυνασθε να ευρητε ανθρωπον, εαν υπαρχη ο ποιων κρισιν, ο ζητων αληθειαν· και θελω συγχωρησει εις αυτην.

Run ye about in the streets of Jerusalem, and see, and know, and seek in her broad places, if ye can find one, if there is any one that does judgment, and seeks faithfulness; and I will pardon them, saith the Lord. Remember, O Lord, what has happened to us: behold, and look on our reproach.
Κυριε, δεν επιβλεπουσιν οι οφθαλμοι σου επι την αληθειαν; εμαστιγωσας αυτους και δεν επονεσαν· κατηναλωσας αυτους και δεν ηθελησαν να δεχθωσι διορθωσιν εσκληρυναν τα προσωπα αυτων υπερ τον βραχον· δεν ηθελησαν να επιστρεψωσι.
English
O Lord, thine eyes are upon faithfulness: thou hast scourged them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them; but they would not receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; and they would not return. we are become orphans, we have no father, our mothers are as widows.

Τοτε εγω ειπα, Ουτοι βεβαιως ειναι πτωχοι· ειναι αφρονες· διοτι δεν γνωριζουσι την οδον του Κυριου, την κρισιν του Θεου αυτων·

Then I said, It may be they are poor; for they are weak, for they know not the way of the Lord, or the judgment of God. We have drunk our water for money; our wood is sold to us for a burden on our neck:

أنطلق الى العظماء واكلمهم لانهم عرفوا طريق الرب قضاء الههم. اما هم فقد كسروا النير جميعا وقطعوا الربط.
θελω υπαγει προς τους μεγαλους και θελω λαλησει προς αυτους· διοτι αυτοι εγνωρισαν την οδον του Κυριου, την κρισιν του Θεου αυτων· αλλα και ουτοι παντες ομου συνετριψαν τον ζυγον, εκοψαν τους δεσμους.
English
I will go to the rich men, and will speak to them; for they have known the way of the Lord, and the judgment of God: but, behold, with one consent they have broken the yoke, they have burst the bonds. we have been persecuted, we have laboured, we have had no rest.

من اجل ذلك يضربهم الاسد من الوعر. ذئب المساء يهلكهم. يكمن النمر حول مدنهم. كل من خرج منها يفترس. لان ذنوبهم كثرت. تعاظمت معاصيهم
Therefore has a lion out of the forest smitten them, and a wolf has destroyed them even to their houses, and a leopard has watched against their cities: all that go forth from them shall be hunted: for they have multiplied their ungodliness, they have strengthened themselves in their revoltings. Egypt gave the hand to us, Assur to their own satisfaction.

كيف اصفح لك عن هذه. بنوك تركوني وحلفوا بما ليست آلهة. ولما اشبعتهم زنوا وفي بيت زانية تزاحموا.
Πως θελω συγχωρησει εις σε δια τουτο; οι υιοι σου με εγκατελιπον και ωμνυον εις τους μη θεους· αφου εχορτασα αυτους, τοτε εμοιχευον και συνεσωρευοντο εις οικον πορνης.
English
In what way shall I forgive thee for these things? Thy sons have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: and I fed them to the full, and they committed adultery, and lodged in harlots’ houses. Our fathers sinned, and are not: we have borne their iniquities.

Ησαν ως οι κεχορτασμενοι ιπποι το πρωι· εκαστος εχρεμετιζε κατοπιν της γυναικος του πλησιον αυτου.
English
They became as wanton horses: they neighed each one after his neighbour’s wife. Servants have ruled over us: there is none to ransom us out of their hand.

أما اعاقب على هذا يقول الرب او ما تنتقم نفسي من امة كهذه
Δεν θελω καμει δια ταυτα επισκεψιν; λεγει Κυριος· και η ψυχη μου δεν θελει εκδικηθη εναντιον εθνους τοιουτου;
English
Shall I not visit for these things? saith the Lord: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this. We shall bring in our bread with danger of our lives, because of the sword of the wilderness.

اصعدوا على اسوارها واخربوا ولكن لا تفنوها. انزعوا افنانها لانها ليست للرب.
Αναβητε επι τα τειχη αυτης και κρημνιζετε, πλην μη καμητε συντελειαν· αφαιρεσατε τας επαλξεις αυτης, διοτι δεν ειναι του Κυριου·
English
Go up upon her battlements, and break them down; but make not a full end: leave her buttresses: for they are the Lord’s. Our skin is blackened like an oven; they are convulsed, because of the storms of famine.

For the house of Israel have indeed dealt treacherously against me, saith the Lord: the house of Juda also They humbled the women in Sion, the virgins in the cities of Juda.

جحدوا الرب وقالوا ليس هو ولا يأتي علينا شر ولا نرى سيفا ولا جوعا.
Ηρνηθησαν τον Κυριον και ειπον, Δεν ειναι αυτος, και δεν θελει ελθει κακον εφ' ημας, ουδε θελομεν ιδει μαχαιραν η πειναν·
English
have lied to their Lord, and they have said, These things are not so; no evils shall come upon us; and we shall not see sword or famine. Princes were hanged up by their hands: the elders were not honoured.

والانبياء يصيرون ريحا والكلمة ليست فيهم. هكذا يصنع بهم.
και οι προφηται ειναι ανεμος και ο λογος δεν υπαρχει εν αυτοις· εις αυτους θελει γεινει ουτω.

Our prophets became wind, and the word of the Lord was not in them. The chosen men lifted up the voice in weeping, and the youths fainted under the wood.

لذلك هكذا قال الرب اله الجنود. من اجل انكم تتكلمون بهذه الكلمة هانذا جاعل كلامي في فمك نارا وهذا الشعب حطبا فتاكلهم.
Δια τουτο ουτω λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος των δυναμεων· Επειδη λαλειτε τον λογον τουτον, ιδου, εγω θελω καμει τους λογους μου εν τω στοματι σου πυρ και τον λαον τουτον ξυλα και θελει καταφαγει αυτους.
English
Therefore thus saith the Lord Almighty, Because ye have spoken this word, behold, I have made my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them. And the elders ceased from the gate, the chosen men ceased from their music.

هانذا اجلب عليكم امة من بعد يا بيت اسرائيل يقول الرب. امة قوية امة منذ القديم امة لا تعرف لسانها ولا تفهم ما تتكلم به.
Ιδου, εγω θελω φερει εφ' υμας εθνος μακροθεν, οικος Ισραηλ, λεγει Κυριος· ειναι εθνος ισχυρον, ειναι εθνος αρχαιον, εθνος του οποιου δεν γνωριζεις την γλωσσαν ουδε καταλαμβανεις τι λεγουσιν.
English
Behold, I will bring upon you a nation from far, O house of Israel, saith the Lord; a nation the sound of whose language one shall not understand. The joy of our heart has ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.
Και θελουσι κατατρωγει τον θερισμον σου και τον αρτον σου, τον οποιον οι υιοι σου και αι θυγατερες σου ηθελον τρωγει· θελουσι κατατρωγει τα ποιμνια σου και τας αγελας σου· θελουσι κατατρωγει τους αμπελωνας σου και τας συκεας σου· θελουσιν εξολοθρευσει δια της ρομφαιας τας οχυρας πολεις σου, επι τας οποιας συ ηλπιζες.
English
and they shall devour your harvest, and your bread; and shall devour your sons, and your daughters; and they shall devour your sheep, and your calves, and devour your vineyards, and your fig-plantations, and your olive yards: and they shall utterly destroy your strong cities, wherein ye trusted, with the sword. For this has grief come; our heart is sorrowful: for this our eyes are darkened.
Και ομως, εν ταις ημεραις εκειναις, λεγει Κυριος, δεν θελω καμει συντελειαν εις εσας.
English
And it shall come to pass in those days, saith the Lord thy God, that I will not utterly destroy you. Over the mountain of Sion, because it is made desolate, foxes have walked therein.

ويكون حين تقولون لماذا صنع الرب الهنا بنا كل هذه. تقول لهم كما انكم تركتموني وعبدتم آلهة غريبة في ارضكم هكذا تعبدون الغرباء في ارض ليست لكم.
Και οταν ειπητε, Δια τι εκαμε Κυριος ο Θεος ημων παντα ταυτα εις ημας; τοτε θελεις ειπει προς αυτους, Καθως με εγκατελιπετε και εδουλευσατε θεους ξενους εν τη γη υμων, ουτω θελετε δουλευσει ξενους εν γη ουχι υμων.
English
And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore has the Lord our God done all these things to us? that thou shalt say to them, Because ye served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours. But thou, O Lord, shalt dwell for ever; thy throne shall endure to generation and generation.

Proclaim these things to the house of Jacob, and let them be heard in the house of Juda. Wherefore wilt thou utterly forget us, and abandon us a long time?

اسمع هذا ايها الشعب الجاهل والعديم الفهم الذين لهم اعين ولا يبصرون. لهم آذان ولا يسمعون.
Ακουσατε τωρα τουτο, λαε μωρε και ασυνετε· οιτινες οφθαλμους εχετε και δεν βλεπετε· ωτα εχετε και δεν ακουετε·
English
Hear ye now these things, O foolish and senseless people; who have eyes, and see not; and have ears, and hear not: Turn us, O Lord, to thee, and we shall be turned; and renew our days as before.

أإياي لا تخشون يقول الرب او لا ترتعدون من وجهي انا الذي وضعت الرمل تخوما للبحر فريضة ابدية لا يتعداها فتتلاطم ولا تستطيع وتعج امواجه ولا تتجاوزها.
εμε δεν φοβεισθε; λεγει Κυριος· δεν θελετε τρεμει ενωπιον μου, οστις εθεσα την αμμον οριον της θαλασσης κατα προσταγμα αιωνιον, και δεν θελει υπερβη αυτο· και τα κυματα αυτης συνταρασσονται, ομως δεν θελουσιν υπερισχυσει· και ηχουσιν, ομως δεν θελουσιν υπερβη αυτο;
English
will ye not be afraid of me? saith the Lord; and will ye not fear before me, who have set the sand for a bound to the sea, as a perpetual ordinance, and it shall not pass it: yea, it shall rage, but not prevail; and its waves shall roar, but not pass over it. For thou hast indeed rejected us; thou hast been very wroth against us.
Και δεν ειπον εν τη καρδια αυτων, Ας φοβηθωμεν τωρα Κυριον τον Θεον ημων, οστις διδει βροχην πρωιμον και οψιμον εν τω καιρω αυτης· φυλαττει δι' ημας τας διωρισμενας εβδομαδας του θερισμου.
English
and they have not said in their heart, Let us fear now the Lord our God, who gives us the early and latter rain, according to the season of the fulfillment of the ordinance of harvest, and has preserved it for us.
Επαχυνθησαν, αποστιλβουσιν· υπερεβησαν μαλιστα τας πραξεις των ασεβων· δεν κρινουσι την κρισιν, την κρισιν του ορφανου, και ευημερουσι· και το δικαιον των πενητων δεν κρινουσι.
English
and they have transgressed the rule of judgment; they have not judged the cause of the orphan, nor have they judged the cause of the widow.

Οι προφηται προφητευουσι ψευδως και οι ιερεις δεσποζουσι δια μεσου αυτων· και ο λαος μου αγαπα ουτω· και τι θελετε καμει εις το μετα ταυτα;
English
the prophets utter unrighteous prophecies, and the priests have clapped their hands: and my people has loved to have it thus: and what will ye do for the future.
