قائلا اذا طلق رجل امرأته فانطلقت من عنده وصارت لرجل آخر فهل يرجع اليها بعد. ألا تتنجس تلك الارض نجاسة. اما انت فقد زنيت باصحاب كثيرين. لكن ارجعي اليّ يقول الرب.
Λεγουσιν, Εαν τις αποβαλη την γυναικα αυτου και αναχωρηση απο αυτου και γεινη αλλου ανδρος, θελει επιστρεψει παλιν εκεινος προς αυτην; η γη εκεινη δεν θελει ολως μιανθη; συ επορνευσας μεν μετα πολλων εραστων· επιστρεψον δε παλιν προς εμε, λεγει Κυριος.

If a man put away his wife, and she depart from him, and become another man’s, shall she return to him any more at all? shall not that woman be utterly defiled? ye thou hast gone a-whoring with many shepherds, and hast returned to me, saith the Lord. ALEPH. I am the man that sees poverty, through the rod of his wrath upon me.

ارفعي عينيك الى الهضاب وانظري اين لم تضاجعي. في الطرقات جلست لهم كاعرابي في البرية ونجست الارض بزناك وبشرك.
Σηκωσον τους οφθαλμους σου προς τους υψηλους τοπους, και ιδε που δεν εσελγησας. Εν ταις οδοις εκαθησας δι' αυτους, ως ο Αραψ εν τη ερημω, και εμιανας την γην με τας πορνειας σου και με την κακιαν σου.
English
Lift up thine eyes to look straight forward, and see where thou hast not been utterly defiled. Thou hast sat for them by the wayside as a deserted crow, and hast defiled the land with thy fornications and thy wickedness. He has taken me, and led me away into darkness, and not into light.

فامتنع الغيث ولم يكن مطر متأخر. وجبهة امرأة زانية كانت لك. أبيت ان تخجلي.
Δια τουτο εκρατηθησαν αι βροχαι, και δεν εγεινε βροχη οψιμος· και συ ειχες το μετωπον της πορνης, απεβαλες πασαν εντροπην.

And thou didst retain many shepherds for a stumbling-block to thyself: thou hadst a whore’s face, thou didst become shameless toward all. Nay, against me has he turned his hand all the day.
Θελει διατηρει την οργην αυτου διαπαντος; θελει φυλαττει αυτην εως τελους; ιδου, ελαλησας και επραξας τα κακα, οσον ηδυνηθης.
English
Will God’s anger continue for ever, or be preserved to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done these bad things, and hadst power to do them. BETH. He has built against me, and compassed my head, and brought travail upon me.

وقال الرب لي في ايام يوشيا الملك. هل رأيت ما فعلت العاصية اسرائيل. انطلقت الى كل جبل عال والى كل شجرة خضراء وزنت هناك.
Ο Κυριος ειπεν ετι προς εμε εν ταις ημεραις Ιωσιου του βασιλεως, Ειδες εκεινα, τα οποια Ισραηλ η αποστατις επραξεν; υπηγεν επι παν υψηλον ορος και υποκατω παντος πρασινου δενδρου και επορνευσεν εκει.

And the Lord said to me in the days of Josias the king, Hast thou seen what things the house of Israel has done to me? they have gone on every high mountain, and under every shady tree, and have committed fornication there. He has set me in dark places, as them that have long been dead.

فقلت بعدما فعلت كل هذه ارجعي اليّ فلم ترجع. فرأت اختها الخائنة يهوذا.
Και αφου επραξε παντα ταυτα, ειπα, Επιστρεψον προς εμε· και δεν επεστρεψε. Και ειδε τουτο Ιουδας η απιστος αυτης αδελφη.

And I said after she had committed all these acts of fornication, Turn again to me. Yet she returned not. And faithless Juda saw her faithlessness. He has builded against me, and I cannot come forth: he has made my brazen chain heavy.

فرأيت انه لاجل كل الاسباب اذ زنت العاصية اسرائيل فطلقتها واعطيتها كتاب طلاقها لم تخف الخائنة يهوذا اختها بل مضت وزنت هي ايضا
Και ειδον οτι ενω επειδη Ισραηλ η αποστατις εμοιχευσεν εγω απεπεμψα αυτην και εδωκα εις αυτην το γραμμα του διαζυγιου αυτης, Ιουδας η απιστος αυτης αδελφη δεν εφοβηθη αλλ' υπηγε και επορνευσε και αυτη.

And I saw that (for all the sins of which she was convicted, wherein the house of Israel committed adultery, and I put her away, and gave into her hands a bill of divorcement,) yet faithless Juda feared not, but went and herself also committed fornication. GIMEL. Yea, though I cry and shout, he shuts out my prayer.

وكان من هوان زناها انها نجست الارض وزنت مع الحجر ومع الشجر.
Και εν πασι τουτοις Ιουδας η απιστος αυτης αδελφη δεν επεστρεψε προς εμε εξ ολης της καρδιας αυτης αλλα ψευδως, λεγει Κυριος.

And for all these things faithless Juda turned not to me with all her heart, but falsely. he has troubled me, as a she-bear lying in wait: he is to me as a lion in secret places.

فقال الرب لي قد بررت نفسها العاصية اسرائيل اكثر من الخائنة يهوذا
Και ειπε Κυριος προς εμε, Ισραηλ η αποστατις εδικαιωσεν εαυτην περισσοτερον παρα Ιουδας η απιστος.

And the Lord said to me, Israel has justified himself more than faithless Juda. He pursued me after I departed, and brought me to a stand: he has utterly ruined me.

اذهب وناد بهذه الكلمات نحو الشمال وقل ارجعي ايتها العاصية اسرائيل يقول الرب. لا اوقع غضبي بكم لاني رؤوف يقول الرب. لا احقد الى الابد.
Υπαγε και διακηρυξον τους λογους τουτους προς τον βορραν και ειπε, Επιστρεψον, Ισραηλ η αποστατις, λεγει Κυριος, και δεν θελω καμει να πεση η οργη μου εφ' υμας· διοτι ελεημων ειμαι, λεγει Κυριος· δεν θελω φυλαττει την οργην διαπαντος.
English
Go and read these words toward the north, and thou shalt say, Return to me, O house of Israel, saith the Lord; and I will not set my face against you: for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not be angry with you for ever. HE. He has bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.

اعرفي فقط اثمك انك الى الرب الهك اذنبت وفرّقت طرقك للغرباء تحت كل شجرة خضراء ولصوتي لم تسمعوا يقول الرب.
Μονον γνωρισον την ανομιαν σου, οτι ημαρτησας εις Κυριον τον Θεον σου, και διηρεσας τας οδους σου εις τους ξενους υποκατω παντος πρασινου δενδρου, και δεν υπηκουσατε εις την φωνην μου, λεγει Κυριος.

Nevertheless, know thine iniquity, that thou hast sinned against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to strangers under every shady tree, but thou didst not hearken to my voice, saith the Lord. He has caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.

ارجعوا ايها البنون العصاة يقول الرب لاني سدت عليكم فآخذكم واحد من المدينة واثنين من العشيرة وآتي بكم الى صهيون
Επιστρεψατε, υιοι αποσταται, λεγει Κυριος, αν και εγω σας απεστραφην· και θελω σας λαβει ενα εκ πολεως και δυο εκ συγγενειας και θελω σας εισαξει εις την Σιων·
English
Turn, ye children that have revolted, saith the Lord; for I will rule over you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you in to Sion: I became a laughing-stock to all my people; and their song all the day.
και θελω σας δωσει ποιμενας κατα την καρδιαν μου και θελουσι σας ποιμανει εν γνωσει και συνεσει.
English
and I will give you shepherds after my heart, and they shall certainly tend you with knowledge. VAU. He has filled me with bitterness, he has drenched me with gall.

ويكون اذ تكثرون وتثمرون في الارض في تلك الايام يقول الرب انهم لا يقولون بعد تابوت عهد الرب ولا يخطر على بال ولا يذكرونه ولا يتعهدونه ولا يصنع بعد.
Και οταν πληθυνθητε και αυξηνθητε επι της γης, εν εκειναις ταις ημεραις, λεγει Κυριος, δεν θελουσι προφερει πλεον, Η κιβωτος της διαθηκης του Κυριου, ουδε θελει αναβη επι καρδιαν αυτων, ουδε θελουσιν ενθυμηθη αυτην, ουδε θελουσιν επισκεφθη, ουδε θελει κατασκευασθη πλεον.

And it shall come to pass that when ye are multiplied and increased upon the land, saith the Lord, in those days they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Holy One of Israel: it shall not come to mind; it shall not be named; neither shall it be visited; nor shall this be done any more. And he has dashed out my teeth with gravel, he has fed me with ashes.

في ذلك الزمان يسمّون اورشليم كرسي الرب ويجتمع اليها كل الامم الى اسم الرب الى اورشليم ولا يذهبون بعد وراء عناد قلبهم الشرير.
Εν εκεινω τω καιρω θελουσιν ονομασει την Ιερουσαλημ· θρονον του Κυριου· και παντα τα εθνη θελουσι συναχθη προς αυτην εν τω ονοματι του Κυριου, προς την Ιερουσαλημ· και δεν θελουσι περιπατησει πλεον οπισω της ορεξεως της πονηρας αυτων καρδιας.

In those days and at that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered to it: and they shall not walk any more after the imaginations of their evil heart. He has also removed my soul from peace: I forgot prosperity.

في تلك الايام يذهب بيت يهوذا مع بيت اسرائيل ويأتيان معا من ارض الشمال الى الارض التي ملّكت آباءكم اياها.
Εν εκειναις ταις ημεραις ο οικος Ιουδα θελει περιπατησει μετα του οικου Ισραηλ, και θελουσιν ελθει ομου απο της γης του βορρα, εις την γην την οποιαν εκληροδοτησα εις τους πατερας σας.
English
In those days the house of Juda, shall come together to the house of Israel, and they shall come, together, from the land of the north, and from all the countries, to the land, which I caused their fathers to inherit. Therefore my success has perished, and my hope from the Lord.

وانا قلت كيف اضعك بين البنين واعطيك ارضا شهية ميراث مجد امجاد الامم. وقلت تدعينني يا ابي ومن ورائي لا ترجعين
Αλλ' εγω ειπα, Πως θελω σε καταταξει μεταξυ των τεκνων και δωσει εις σε γην επιθυμητην, ενδοξον κληρονομιαν των δυναμεων των εθνων; Και ειπα, Συ θελεις με κραξει, Πατερ μου· και δεν θελεις αποστρεψει απο οπισθεν μου.

And I said, So be it, Lord, for thou saidst I will set thee among children, and will give thee a choice land, the inheritance of the Almighty God of the Gentiles: and I said, Ye shall call me Father; and ye shall not turn away from me. حقا انه كما تخون المرأة قرينها هكذا خنتموني يا بيت اسرائيل يقول الرب.
But as a wife acts treacherously against her husband, so has the house of Israel dealt treacherously against me, saith the Lord. shall be remembered; and my soul shall meditate with me.

سمع صوت على الهضاب بكاء تضرعات بني اسرائيل. لانهم عوّجوا طريقهم. نسوا الرب الههم.
Φωνη ηκουσθη επι των υψηλων τοπων, κλαυθμος και δεησεις των υιων Ισραηλ· διοτι διεστρεψαν την οδον αυτων, ελησμονησαν Κυριον τον Θεον αυτων.

A voice from the lips was heard, even of weeping and supplication of the children of Israel: for they have dealt unrighteously in their ways, they have forgotten God their Holy One. This will I lay up in my heart, therefore I will endure.
Επιστρεψατε, υιοι αποσταται, και θελω ιατρευσει τας αποστασιας σας. Ιδου, ημεις ερχομεθα προς σε· διοτι συ εισαι Κυριος ο Θεος ημων.

Turn, ye children that are given to turning, and I will heal your bruises. Behold, we will be thy servants; for thou art the Lord our God. HETH. It is the mercies of the Lord, that he has not failed me, because his compassions are not exhausted.
Τωοντι εις ματην ελπιζεται σωτηρια εκ των λοφων και εκ του πληθους των ορεων· μονον εν Κυριω τω Θεω ημων ειναι η σωτηρια του Ισραηλ.
English
Truly the hills and the strength of the mountains were a lying refuge: but by the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel. Pity us, O Lord, early every month: for we are not brought to an end, because his compassions are not exhausted. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

وقد اكل الخزي تعب آبائنا منذ صبانا غنمهم وبقرهم بنيهم وبناتهم.
Διοτι η αισχυνη κατεφαγε τον κοπον των πατερων ημων εκ της νεοτητος ημων· τα ποιμνια αυτων και τας αγελας αυτων, τους υιους αυτων και τας θυγατερας αυτων.
English
But shame has consumed the labours of our fathers from our youth; their sheep and their calves, and their sons and their daughters. The Lord is my portion, says my soul; therefore will I wait for him.

نضطجع في خزينا ويغطينا خجلنا لاننا الى الرب الهنا اخطأنا نحن وآباؤنا منذ صبانا الى هذا اليوم ولم نسمع لصوت الرب الهنا
Εν τη αισχυνη ημων κατακειμεθα, και η ατιμια ημων καλυπτει ημας· διοτι ημαρτησαμεν εις Κυριον τον Θεον ημων, ημεις και οι πατερες ημων, εκ της νεοτητος ημων εως της ημερας ταυτης, και δεν υπηκουσαμεν εις την φωνην Κυριου του Θεου ημων.

We have lain down in our shame, and our disgrace has covered us: because we and our fathers have sinned before our God, from our youth until this day; and we have not hearkened to the voice of the Lord our God. TETH. The Lord is good to them that wait for him: the soul which shall seek him
