Οι δε Φιλισταιοι ελαβον την κιβωτον του Θεου και εφεραν αυτην απο Εβεν-εζερ εις Αζωτον.

And it was told David, saying, behold, the Philistines war in Keila, and they rob, they trample on the threshing-floors.

واخذ الفلسطينيون تابوت الله وادخلوه الى بيت داجون واقاموه بقرب داجون.

Και ελαβον οι Φιλισταιοι την κιβωτον του Θεου και εφεραν αυτην εις τον οικον του Δαγων, και εθεσαν αυτην πλησιον του Δαγων.

And David enquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? And the Lord said, Go, and thou shalt smite these Philistines, and shalt save Keila.

وبكر الاشدوديون في الغد واذا بداجون ساقط على وجهه الى الارض امام تابوت الرب. فاخذوا داجون واقاموه في مكانه.

Και οτε οι Αζωτιοι εσηκωθησαν ενωρις την επαυριον, ιδου, ο Δαγων πεσμενος κατα προσωπον αυτου επι της γης ενωπιον της κιβωτου του Κυριου. Και λαβοντες τον Δαγων, κατεστησαν αυτον εις τον τοπον αυτου.

And the men of David said to him, Behold, we are afraid here in Judea; and how shall it be if we go to Keila? Shall we go after the spoils of the Philistines?

وبكروا صباحا في الغد واذا بداجون ساقط على وجهه على الارض امام تابوت الرب وراس داجون ويداه مقطوعة على العتبة. بقي بدن السمكة فقط.

Και την επαυριον οτε εσηκωθησαν ενωρις το πρωι, ιδου, ο Δαγων πεσμενος κατα προσωπον αυτου επι της γης ενωπιον της κιβωτου του Κυριου· και η κεφαλη του Δαγων και αι δυο παλαμαι των χειρων αυτου αποκεκομμεναι επι του κατωφλιου· μονον ο κορμος του Δαγων εναπεμεινεν εις αυτον.
English
And David enquired yet again of the Lord; and the Lord answered him, and said to him, Arise and go down to Keila, for I will deliver the Philistines into thy hands.

لذلك لا يدوس كهنة داجون وجميع الداخلين الى بيت داجون على عتبة داجون في اشدود الى هذا اليوم

Δια τουτο εν τη Αζωτω οι ιερεις του Δαγων, και πας ο εισερχομενος εις τον οικον του Δαγων, δεν πατουσιν εις το κατωφλιον του Δαγων εως της ημερας ταυτης.
English
So David and his men with him went to Keila, and fought with the Philistines; and they fled from before him, and he carried off their cattle, and smote them with a great slaughter, and David rescued the inhabitants of Keila.

فثقلت يد الرب على الاشدوديين واخربهم وضربهم بالبواسير في اشدود وتخومها.

Και επεβαρυνθη η χειρ του Κυριου επι τους Αζωτιους, και εξωλοθρευσεν αυτους και επαταξεν αυτους με αιμορροιδας, την Αζωτον και τα ορια αυτης.

And it came to pass when Abiathar the son of Achimelech fled to David, that he went down with David to Keila, having and ephod in his hand.

ولما رأى اهل اشدود الامر كذلك قالوا لا يمكث تابوت اله اسرائيل عندنا لان يده قد قست علينا وعلى داجون الهنا.

Και οτε ειδον οι ανδρες της Αζωτου οτι εγεινεν ουτως, ειπον, Η κιβωτος του Θεου του Ισραηλ δεν θελει κατοικει μεθ' ημων· διοτι η χειρ αυτου εσκληρυνθη εφ' ημας και επι τον Δαγων τον θεον ημων.
English
And it was told Saul that David was come to Keila: and Saul said, God has sold him into my hands, for he is shut up, having entered into a city that has gates and bars.

فارسلوا وجمعوا جميع اقطاب الفلسطينيين اليهم وقالوا ماذا نصنع بتابوت اله اسرائيل. فقالوا لينقل تابوت اله اسرائيل الى جتّ. فنقلوا تابوت اله اسرائيل.

Οθεν αποστειλαντες εσυναξαν προς εαυτους παντας τους σατραπας των Φιλισταιων και ειπον, Τι θελομεν καμει εις την κιβωτον του Θεου του Ισραηλ; οι δε ειπον, Η κιβωτος του Θεου του Ισραηλ ας μετακομισθη εις Γαθ. Και μετεκομισαν την κιβωτον του Θεου του Ισραηλ.
English
And Saul charged all the people to go down to war to Keila, to besiege David and his men.

وكان بعد ما نقلوه ان يد الرب كانت على المدينة باضطراب عظيم جدا وضرب اهل المدينة من الصغير الى الكبير ونفرت لهم البواسير.

Αφου δε μετεκομισαν αυτην, η χειρ του Κυριου ητο εναντιον της πολεως με ολεθρον μεγαν σφοδρα· και επαταξε τους ανδρας της πολεως, απο μικρου εως μεγαλου, και εξεφυησαν εις αυτους αιμορροιδες.
English
And David knew that Saul spoke openly of mischief against him: and David said to Abiathar the priest, Bring the ephod of the Lord.

فارسلوا تابوت الله الى عقرون. وكان لما دخل تابوت الله الى عقرون انه صرخ العقرونيون قائلين قد نقلوا الينا تابوت اله اسرائيل لكي يميتونا نحن وشعبنا.

Δια τουτο απεστειλαν την κιβωτον του Θεου εις Ακκαρων. Και ως ηλθεν η κιβωτος του Θεου εις Ακκαρων, οι Ακκαρωνιται εβοησαν, λεγοντες, Εφεραν την κιβωτον του Θεου του Ισραηλ εις ημας, δια να θανατωση ημας και τον λαον ημων.
English
And David said, Lord God of Israel, thy servant has indeed heard, that Saul seeks to come against Keila to destroy the city on my account.

وارسلوا وجمعوا كل اقطاب الفلسطينيين وقالوا ارسلوا تابوت اله اسرائيل فيرجع الى مكانه ولا يميتنا نحن وشعبنا لان اضطراب الموت كان في كل المدينة. يد الله كانت ثقيلة جدا هناك.

Και αποστειλαντες εσυναξαν παντας τους σατραπας των Φιλισταιων και ειπον, Αποπεμψατε την κιβωτον του Θεου του Ισραηλ, και ας επιστρεψη εις τον τοπον αυτης, δια να μη θανατωση ημας και τον λαον ημων· διοτι ητο τρομος θανατου εφ' ολην την πολιν· η χειρ του Θεου ητο εκει βαρεια σφορα.
English
Will the place be shut up? And now will Saul come down, as thy servant has heard? Lord God of Israel, tell thy servant. And the Lord said, It will be shut up.

والناس الذين لم يموتوا ضربوا بالبواسير فصعد صراخ المدينة الى السماء

And David arose, and the men with him, in number about four hundred, and they went forth from Keila, and went whithersoever they could go: and it was told Saul that David had escaped from Keila, and he forbore to come.

And he dwelt in Maserem in the wilderness, in the narrow passes; and dwelt in the wilderness in mount Ziph, in the dry country. And Saul sought him continually, but the Lord delivered him not into his hands.

And David perceived that Saul went forth to seek David; and David was in the dry mountain in the New Ziph.

And Jonathan son of Saul rose, and went to David to Caene, and strengthened his hands in the Lord.

And he said to him, Fear not, for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be second to thee; and Saul my father knows it.

So they both made a covenant before the Lord; and David dwelt in Caene, and Jonathan went to his home.

And the Ziphites came up out of the dry country to Saul to the hill, saying, Behold, is not David hidden with us in Messara, in the narrows in Caene in the hill of Echela, which is on the right of Jessaemon?

And now according to all the king’s desire to come down, let him come down to us; they have shut him up into the hands of the king.

And the Ziphites arose, and went before Saul: and David and his men were in the wilderness of Maon, westward, to the right of Jessaemon.

And Saul and his men went to seek him: and they brought word to David, and he went down to the rock that was in the wilderness of Maon: and Saul heard, and followed after David to the wilderness of Maon.
