+ قَالَ اَلرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى: قُلْ لِشَعْبِكَ هُوَ يَرْحَلُ: اِضْرِبِ اَلْبَحْرَ بِالْعَصَا: يَنْفَتِحْ لَكَ فِيهِ مَخْرَجٌ.
+ فَقَامَ مُوسَى بِاللَّيْلِ: ضَرَبَ اَلْبَحْرَ بِسُرْعَةٍ فَانْفَتَحَ فِيهِ دَرْبٌ طَوِيلٌ: وَطَرِيقٌ مُتَّسِعَةٌ.
+ فَانْشَقَّ اَلْبَحْرُ نِصْفَيْنِ: وَعَبَرُوا جُمْلَةً سَوِيَّةً: وَصَارُوا فِيهِ مَاشِيِينَ: عَلَى اَلْأَرْضِ اَلسُّفْلِيَّةِ.
+ وَعَامُودُ اَلنُّورِ دَلِيلٌ: لِلطَّرِيقِ يَدُلُّهُمْ: قُدَّامَ آلِ إِسْرَائِيلَ: وَبِنُورِهِ شَامِلُهُمْ.
+ دَاسُوا عَلَى اَلْبَاجِ وَالصُّخُورِ: فِي وَسَطِ قَاعِ اَلْبِحَارِ: وَالْمِيَاهُ كَمِثْلِ اَلسُّورِ: اَلْعَالِي يَمِينٌ وَيَسَارٌ.
+ دَخَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَتَجَاسَرَ: بِخُيُولِهِ فِي أَثَرِهِمْ: وَمَعَهُ كُلُّ عَسَاكِرَ: بِعَبِيدِهِ قَاطِرُهُمْ.
+ فَأَتَاهُمْ عَمُودُ غَمَامٍ: وَحَجَزَ بَيْنَ اَلصَّفَّيْنِ: فَبَقِيَ فِرْعَوْنُ فِي ظَلَامٍ: وَعَبِيدُهُ مَطْمُوسِينَ.
+ قَالَ اَلْمِصْرِيُّونَ: نَحْنُ نَهْرُبُ مِنْهُمْ: مِنْ قُدَّامِ آلِ إِسْرَائِيلَ: اَلرَّبُّ يُحَارِبُ عَنْهُمْ.
+ قَالَ اَلرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى: اِضْرِبِ اَلْبَحْرَ رُدَّهُ: فَضَرَبَ اَلْبَحْرَ بِالْعَصَا: رَجَعَ اَلْمَاءُ إِلَى أَصْلِهِ.
+ فَانْقَلَبَتْ بَكَرَاتُ فِرْعَوْنَ: وَغَطَسُوا فِي وَسَطِ اَلْمِيَاهِ: وَعَبِيدُهُ يَنْطَمِسُونَ: وَعَمَّتْهُمُ اَلظُّلْمَةُ.
+ فَثَارَ عَاصِفٌ بِعَجَّاجَةٍ: فِي وَسَطِ اَلْبَحْرِ هَاجَهُ: وَانْطَبَقَتْ أَمْوَاجُهُ: رَجَعَ اَلْمَاءُ عَلَى بَاجِهِ.
+ غَطَسَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَغَاصَ: وَعَسَاكِرُهُ اَلْكُلُّ مَعَاهُ: وَصَارُوا اَلْجَمِيعُ كَالرَّصَاصِ: وَرَسَخُوا فِي قَاعِ اَلْمِيَاهِ.
+ أَشْرَقَتِ اَلشَّمْسُ تِلْكَ اَلسَّاعَةَ: حِينَ غَرِقَ ذَاكَ اَلْجَبَّارُ: وَإِسْرَائِيلُ صَارَ فِي شَجَاعَةٍ: عَدَّى اَلْبَحْرَ وَسَارَ.
+ جَازُوا اَلْبَحْرَ بِسُرُورٍ: مَاشِيِينَ عَلَى اَلْبَاجِ وَالصُّخُورِ: وَطَارُوا كَمِثْلِ اَلنُّسُورِ: وَنَزَلُوا عَلَى أَعْلَى اَلطُّورِ.
+ حِينَئِذٍ سَبَّحَ مُوسَى: وَجَمَاعَةُ إِسْرَائِيلَ: وَمَعَهُ كُلُّ اَلرُّؤَسَاءِ: بِالتَّسَابِيحِ وَالتَّهْلِيلِ.
+ وَكَانَ مُوسَى وَالشَّعْبُ يَقُولُونَ: بِفَمٍ وَاحِدٍ: تَعَالَوْا نُسَبِّحِ اَلرَّبَّ: لِأَنَّهُ بِالْمَجْدِ قَدْ تَمَجَّدَ.
+ اَلْخَيْلُ وَرُكَّابُ اَلْخَيْلِ: طَرَحَهُمْ فِي اَلْبَحْرِ اَلْأَحْمَرِ: وَخَلَّصَ إِسْرَائِيلَ: مِنَ اَلذُّلَّةِ وَالْعَارِ.
+ هَذَا هُوَ إِلَهِي: وَأُمَجِّدُ اِسْمَهُ دَائِمٌ: هَذَا هُوَ إِلَهُ آبَائِي: صَانِعُ كُلِّ عَظَائِمَ.
+ حَطَّمَ اَلْقِتَالَ بِجَبَرُوتِهِ: اَلرَّبُّ اِسْمُهُ مُكَرَّمٌ: فِرْعَوْنُ وَقُوَّاتُهُ: آفْفِير فُورُوا أَمْفِيُوم.
+ خِيَارُ فُرْسَانِهِ اَلثُّلَاثِيَّةِ: فِي وَسَطِ اَلْبَحْرِ غَطَسَتْ: وَعَسَاكِرُهُ اَلْحَرْبِيَّةُ: فِي قَاعِ اَلْمِيَاهِ رَسَخَتْ.
+ وَغَطَّتْهُمُ اَلْمِيَاهُ: وَغَطَسُوا فِي اَلْأَعْمَاقِ: كَمِثْلِ حَجَرٍ وَرَمَاهُ: وَالْبَحْرُ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَاقَ.
+ يَمِينُكَ يَا رَبِّي: تَمَجَّدَتْ بِقُوَاهَا: يَمِينُكَ يَا إِلَهِي: أَهْلَكَتْ كُلَّ أَعْدَائِهَا.
+ يَا رَبِّي بِكَثْرَةِ مَجْدِكَ: سَحَقْتَ اَلْعَدُوَّ اَلْأَثِيمَ: وَأَرْسَلْتَ رُوحَ غَضَبِكَ: فَأَكَلَهُمْ مِثْلَ اَلْهَشِيمِ.
+ مِنْ قِبَلِ رُوحِ غَضَبِكَ: وَقَفَ اَلْمَاءُ كَسُورٍ مَلْمُومٍ: وَسَكَتَ اَلْمَوْجُ وَحَبَكَ: خِين أثْمِيتِي أَمْ أَفْيُوم.
+ قَالَ اَلْعَدُوُّ أَسْرَعُ وَأُدْرِكُ: وَأَقْسِمُ كُلَّ غَنَائِمَ: وَأُشْبِعُ نَفْسِي وَسَيْفِي: وَيَدِي تَمْلِكُ دَائِمٌ.
+ أَرْسَلْتَ رُوحَكَ غَطَسُوا: فِي بَحْرٍ مَالُوشُ قَرَارٌ: فِي أَسْفَلِ قَاعِهِ رَسَخُوا: كَالرَّصَاصِ فِي مِيَاهٍ غِزَارٍ.
+ مَنْ يُشْبِهُكَ فِي اَلْآلَةِ: يَا رَبُّ مَنْ مِثْلُكَ: مُمَجَّدٌ فِي قِدِّيسِيكَ: يَتَعَجَّبُونَ مِنْكَ.
+ بَسَطْتَ يَدَكَ: وَالْأَرْضُ اِبْتَلَعَتْهُمْ: بِالْعَدْلِ هَدَيْتَ شَعْبَكَ: إِلَى مَوْضِعِ رَاحَتِهِمْ.
+ اَلْأُمَمُ سَمِعُوا وَغَضِبُوا: وَأَخَذَهُمْ طَلْقٌ عَظِيمٌ: وَأَهْلُ فِلَسْطِينَ هَرَبُوا: وَشَمِلَهُمْ حُزْنٌ جَسِيمٌ.
+ فَانْصَرَعَتْ رُؤَسَاءُ أَدُومَ: وَقَلِقَ مُوآبُ وَاحْتَارَ: وَفَزِعَتْ كُلُّ اَلتُّخُومِ: لَمَّا سَمِعُوا اَلْأَخْبَارَ.
+ اِنْحَلَّتْ سُكَّانُ كَنْعَانَ: وَالرَّعْدَةُ أَخَذَتْهُمْ: وَلَحِقَهُمْ خَوْفٌ وَأَحْزَانٌ: وَبَطَلَتْ حَرَكَتُهُمْ.
+ بِقُوَّةِ ذِرَاعَيْكَ: يَصِيرُوا كَالْأَحْجَارِ: حَتَّى يَجُوزَ شَعْبُكَ: يَجُوزُ شَعْبُكَ اَلْمُخْتَارُ.
+ أَدْخِلْهُمْ جَبَلَ مِيرَاثِكَ: وَاغْرِسْهُمْ فِي ذَاكَ اَلدَّارِ: فِي مَسْكَنِكَ وَمَحَلِّكَ: اَلَّذِي أَعْدَدْتَهُ لِلْأَطْهَارِ.
+ اَلْمُلْكُ لَكَ وَحْدَكَ: وَالْعَظَمَةُ وَالسُّلْطَانُ: دَخَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ ضِدَّكَ: بِالْعَسْكَرِ وَالْفُرْسَانِ.
+ لِأَنَّهُمْ دَخَلُوا فِي اَلْبَحْرِ: وَمَشَوْا اَلْكُلُّ فِي وَسَطِهِ: بِمَرَاكِبَ وَعَسَاكِرَ: نِيم نِيف تَشَاسِي أَهْثُو.
+ اَلرَّبُّ جَاءَ بِالْمَاءِ وَكَبَسَ: عَلَى اَلْخُيُولِ وَكُلِّ اَلْقَوْمِ: وَإِسْرَائِيلُ مَشَى عَلَى اَلْيَابِسِ: خِين أثْمِيتِي أَمْ أَفْيُوم.
+ فَأَخَذَتْ مَرْيَمُ أُخْتُ هَارُونَ: اَلدُّفَّ بِيَدَيْهَا: وَالنِّسْوَةُ مَعَهَا يُغَنِّينَ: بِطُبُولِهِمْ حَوَالَيْهَا.
+ فَبَدَأَتْ مَرْيَمُ اَلنَّبِيَّةُ: تُغَنِّي بِالتَّهْلِيلِ: وَالنِّسْوَةُ مَعَهَا سَوِيَّةً: يَدُقُّوا صُنُوجَ وَطُبُولَ.
+ يُغَنُّونَ بِغِنَاءٍ يُطْرِبُ: وَيَقُولُونَ بِفَمٍ وَاحِدٍ: تَعَالَوْا نُسَبِّحِ اَلرَّبَّ: لِأَنَّهُ بِالْمَجْدِ تَمَجَّدَ.
+ اَلْخَيْلُ وَرُكَّابُ اَلْخَيْلِ: طَرَحَهُمْ فِي اَلْبَحْرِ اَلْأَحْمَرِ: يَا فَرْحَةَ إِسْرَائِيلَ: بِخَلَاصِهِ مِنَ اَلْكُفَّارِ.
+ بِالْقَطْعِ اِنْقَطَعَ مَاءُ اَلْبَحْرِ: وَالْأَعْمَاقُ صَارَتْ مَسْلَكٌ: وَمُوسَى فِيهَا عَبَرَ: وَالْعَدُوُّ سَقَطَ فِي مَهْلَكٌ.
+ أَرْضٌ غَيْرُ مَنْظُورَةٍ: أَشْرَقَتِ اَلشَّمْسُ عَلَيْهَا: وَطَرِيقٌ مَسْتُورَةٌ: أَفْمُوشِي هِيُوتْف.
+ اَلْمَاءُ اَلْمَحْلُولُ وَقَفَ: قُدَّامَ مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ: بِعَجَبٍ لَا يُوصَفُ: أُووُه أَمْبَار أَذُوكْسُون.
+ فِرْعَوْنُ وَمَرَاكِبُهُ غَطَسُوا: أَسْفَلَ فِي اَلْقَاعِ فِي اَلْيَمِّ: وَبَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ عَبَرُوا: نَاف جِين يِر أَمْ أَفْيُوم.
+ وَكَانَ مُوسَى يُسَبِّحُ قُدَّامَ: وَطَلَعُوا مِنَ اَلْمِينَا: إِلَى أَنْ وَصَلُوا بِسَلَامٍ: هِي أَبْشَافِي أَنْ سِينَا.
+ The Lord said to Moses: Tell your people to depart: Strike the sea with the staff: A way shall open for you therein.
+ Moses arose by night: He struck the sea quickly and a long path opened therein: And a wide road.
+ The sea split in two: And they crossed all together: And they walked therein: Upon the dry land.
+ And the pillar of light was a guide: Showing them the way: Before the people of Israel: And encompassing them with its light.
+ They trod upon the mud and the rocks: In the midst of the sea floor: And the waters were like a wall: High on the right and on the left.
+ Pharaoh entered and dared: With his horses in their pursuit: And with him all his soldiers: Leading his slaves.
+ A pillar of cloud came to them: And stood between the two hosts: So Pharaoh remained in darkness: And his slaves were blinded.
+ The Egyptians said: We shall flee from them: From before the people of Israel: The Lord fights for them.
+ The Lord said to Moses: Strike the sea and turn it back: He struck the sea with the staff: The water returned to its origin.
+ Pharaoh’s chariots overturned: And they sank in the midst of the waters: And his slaves were blinded: And darkness covered them.
+ A storm rose with a whirlwind: In the midst of the sea it raged: And its waves collapsed: The water returned upon its mud.
+ Pharaoh sank and drowned: And all his soldiers with him: And they all became like lead: And settled in the bottom of the waters.
+ The sun shone at that hour: When that tyrant drowned: And Israel was in courage: Crossed the sea and walked.
+ They crossed the sea with joy: Walking upon the mud and the rocks: And they flew like eagles: And descended upon the top of the mountain.
+ Then Moses sang: And the congregation of Israel: And with him all the leaders: With praises and rejoicing.
+ And Moses and the people were saying: With one mouth: Come let us praise the Lord: For He has been glorified in glory.
+ The horse and the rider: He cast into the Red Sea: And He saved Israel: From humiliation and shame.
+ This is my God: And I shall glorify His name forever: This is the God of my fathers: Maker of all wonders.
+ He destroyed the battle by His might: The Lord is His honored name: Pharaoh and his forces: (Coptic phrase).
+ The choice of his triple charioteers: Sank in the midst of the sea: And his warlike soldiers: Settled in the bottom of the waters.
+ And the waters covered them: And they sank in the depths: Like a stone that one throws: And the sea closed upon them.
+ Your right hand O my Lord: Is glorified in its power: Your right hand O my God: Destroyed all Your enemies.
+ O my Lord by the greatness of Your glory: You crushed the wicked enemy: And sent forth the spirit of Your wrath: And consumed them like stubble.
+ By the spirit of Your wrath: The water stood like a gathered wall: And the waves were silent and bound: (Coptic phrase).
+ The enemy said I shall hasten and overtake: And divide all the spoils: And satisfy my soul and my sword: And my hand shall rule forever.
+ You sent Your spirit and they sank: In a sea that has no bottom: In the depths of its floor they settled: Like lead in deep waters.
+ Who is like You among the gods: O Lord who is like You: Glorified in Your saints: They marvel at You.
+ You stretched out Your hand: And the earth swallowed them: With justice You led Your people: To the place of their rest.
+ The nations heard and were angry: And great trembling took hold of them: And the people of Palestine fled: And great sorrow encompassed them.
+ The leaders of Edom were troubled: And Moab was anxious and confused: And all the borders were terrified: When they heard the news.
+ The inhabitants of Canaan were dissolved: And trembling took hold of them: And fear and sorrows followed them: And their movement ceased.
+ By the power of Your arms: They shall become like stones: Until Your people pass: Your chosen people pass.
+ Bring them to the mountain of Your inheritance: And plant them in that dwelling: In Your tabernacle and Your place: Which You prepared for the pure.
+ The Kingdom is Yours alone: And the greatness and the power: Pharaoh entered against You: With the army and the horsemen.
+ For they entered into the sea: And they all walked in its midst: With chariots and soldiers: (Coptic phrase).
+ The Lord came with the water and pressed: Upon the horses and all the people: And Israel walked on the dry land: (Coptic phrase).
+ Miriam the sister of Aaron took: The timbrel in her hands: And the women with her singing: With their drums around her.
+ Miriam the prophetess began: To sing with rejoicing: And the women with her together: Beating cymbals and drums.
+ They sing with a song that delights: And they say with one mouth: Come let us praise the Lord: For He has been glorified in glory.
+ The horse and the rider: He cast into the Red Sea: O the joy of Israel: In his salvation from the infidels.
+ By the cutting the sea water was cut: And the depths became a path: And Moses crossed therein: And the enemy fell into destruction.
+ A land not seen: The sun shone upon it: And a hidden way: (Coptic phrase).
+ The dissolved water stood: Before Moses and Aaron: With a wonder that cannot be described: (Coptic phrase).
+ Pharaoh and his chariots sank: Down in the bottom of the sea: And the children of Israel crossed: (Coptic phrase).
+ And Moses was praising before: And they came out from the port: Until they arrived in peace: (Coptic phrase).

+ Die Ägypter sagten: Wir wollen vor ihnen fliehen: Vor dem Volk Israel: Der Herr kämpft für sie.
+ Der Herr sprach zu Mose: Schlage das Meer und kehre es zurück: Er schlug das Meer mit dem Stab: Das Wasser kehrte zu seinem Ursprung zurück.
+ Pharaos Wagen stürzten um: Und sie versanken inmitten der Wasser: Und seine Sklaven wurden geblendet: Und die Finsternis bedeckte sie.
+ Ein Sturm erhob sich mit einem Wirbelwind: Inmitten des Meeres tobte er: Und seine Wellen schlugen zusammen: Das Wasser kehrte auf seinen Schlamm zurück.
+ Pharao versank und ertrank: Und alle seine Soldaten mit ihm: Und sie alle wurden wie Blei: Und setzten sich auf den Grund der Wasser.
+ Die Sonne schien zu jener Stunde: Als jener Tyrann ertrank: Und Israel war voller Mut: Überquerte das Meer und ging.
+ Sie zogen mit Freude durch das Meer: Gehend auf dem Schlamm und den Felsen: Und sie flogen wie Adler: Und stiegen auf den Gipfel des Berges.
+ Da lobte Mose: Und die Gemeinde Israel: Und mit ihm alle die Obersten: Mit Lobgesängen und Jubel.
+ Und Mose und das Volk sprachen: Mit einem Munde: Kommt lasst uns den Herrn loben: Denn Er ist in Herrlichkeit verherrlicht worden.
+ Das Pferd und den Reiter: Warf Er in das Rote Meer: Und Er rettete Israel: Vor der Erniedrigung und der Schande.
+ Dies ist mein Gott: Und ich werde Seinen Namen ewig verherrlichen: Dies ist der Gott meiner Väter: Der Schöpfer aller Wunder.
+ Er zerschmetterte den Kampf durch Seine Macht: Der Herr ist Sein geehrter Name: Pharao und seine Streitkräfte: (Koptischer Ausdruck).
+ Die Auswahl seiner dreifachen Reiter: Versank inmitten des Meeres: Und seine kriegerischen Soldaten: Setzten sich auf den Grund der Wasser.
+ Und die Wasser bedeckten sie: Und sie versanken in den Tiefen: Wie ein Stein den man wirft: Und das Meer schloss sich über ihnen.
+ Deine Rechte o mein Herr: Ist verherrlicht in ihrer Kraft: Deine Rechte o mein Gott: Vernichtete alle Deine Feinde.
+ O mein Herr durch die Größe Deiner Herrlichkeit: Du zerschmettertest den gottlosen Feind: Und sandtest den Geist Deines Zornes: Und verzehrtest sie wie Stoppeln.
+ Durch den Geist Deines Zornes: Stand das Wasser wie eine gesammelte Mauer: Und die Wellen waren still und gebunden: (Koptischer Ausdruck).
+ Der Feind sagte ich will eilen und einholen: Und alle Beute teilen: Und meine Seele und mein Schwert sättigen: Und meine Hand soll ewig herrschen.
+ Du sandtest Deinen Geist und sie versanken: In einem Meer das keinen Boden hat: In den Tiefen seines Grundes setzten sie sich: Wie Blei in tiefen Wassern.
+ Wer ist Dir gleich unter den Göttern: O Herr wer ist Dir gleich: Verherrlicht in Deinen Heiligen: Sie staunen über Dich.
+ Du strecktest Deine Hand aus: Und die Erde verschlang sie: Mit Gerechtigkeit führtest Du Dein Volk: Zum Ort ihrer Ruhe.
+ Die Nationen hörten und erzürnten: Und großes Beben ergriff sie: Und die Leute von Palästina flohen: Und großer Kummer umfasste sie.
+ Die Fürsten von Edom wurden bestürzt: Und Moab war ängstlich und verwirrt: Und alle Grenzen erschraken: Als sie die Nachrichten hörten.
+ Die Bewohner von Kanaan lösten sich auf: Und das Zittern ergriff sie: Und Furcht und Sorgen folgten ihnen: Und ihre Bewegung hörte auf.
+ Durch die Kraft Deiner Arme: Werden sie wie Steine: Bis Dein Volk hindurchzieht: Dein auserwähltes Volk hindurchzieht.
+ Bringe sie zum Berg Deines Erbes: Und pflanze sie in jene Wohnung: In Dein Zelt und Deinen Ort: Den Du für die Reinen bereitet hast.
+ Das Königreich ist Dein allein: Und die Größe und die Macht: Pharao kam gegen Dich: Mit dem Heer und den Reitern.
+ Denn sie gingen in das Meer: Und sie gingen alle in seiner Mitte: Mit Wagen und Soldaten: (Koptischer Ausdruck).

+ Mirjam die Schwester Aarons nahm: Die Pauke in ihre Hände: Und die Frauen mit ihr singend: Mit ihren Trommeln um sie herum.
+ Mirjam die Prophetin begann: Zu singen mit Jubel: Und die Frauen mit ihr zusammen: Schlugen Zimbeln und Trommeln.
+ Sie singen mit einem Lied das erfreut: Und sie sagen mit einem Munde: Kommt lasst uns den Herrn loben: Denn Er ist in Herrlichkeit verherrlicht worden.
+ Das Pferd und den Reiter: Warf Er in das Rote Meer: O die Freude Israels: In seiner Rettung von den Ungläubigen.
+ Durch das Schneiden wurde das Meerwasser geschnitten: Und die Tiefen wurden ein Pfad: Und Mose zog darin hindurch: Und der Feind fiel in das Verderben.
+ Ein Land nicht gesehen: Die Sonne schien darauf: Und ein verborgener Weg: (Koptischer Ausdruck).

+ Les chars de Pharaon se renversèrent: Et ils sombrèrent au milieu des eaux: Et ses esclaves furent aveuglés: Et les ténèbres les couvrirent.
+ Une tempête se leva avec un tourbillon: Au milieu de la mer elle fit rage: Et ses vagues s’effondrèrent: L’eau retourna sur sa boue.
+ Pharaon sombra et se noya: Et tous ses soldats avec lui: Et ils devinrent tous comme du plomb: Et s’installèrent au fond des eaux.
+ Le soleil brilla à cette heure: Quand ce tyran se noya: Et Israël fut plein de courage: Traversant la mer et marchant.
+ Ils traversèrent la mer avec joie: Marchant sur la boue et les rochers: Et ils volèrent comme des aigles: Et descendirent sur le sommet de la montagne.
+ Alors Moïse chanta: Et la congrégation d’Israël: Et avec lui tous les chefs: Avec des louanges et de la joie.
+ Et Moïse et le peuple disaient: D’une seule bouche: Venez louons le Seigneur: Car Il a été glorifié dans la gloire.
+ Le cheval et le cavalier: Il les jeta dans la mer Rouge: Et Il sauva Israël: De l’humiliation et de la honte.
+ Ceci est mon Dieu: Et je glorifierai Son nom pour toujours: Ceci est le Dieu de mes pères: Créateur de toutes les merveilles.
+ Il détruisit le combat par Sa puissance: Le Seigneur est Son nom honoré: Pharaon et ses forces: (Expression copte).
+ L’élite de ses triples cavaliers: Sombra au milieu de la mer: Et ses soldats guerriers: S’installèrent au fond des eaux.
+ Et les eaux les couvrirent: Et ils sombrèrent dans les profondeurs: Comme une pierre que l’on jette: Et la mer se referma sur eux.
+ Ta droite ô mon Seigneur: Est glorifiée dans sa puissance: Ta droite ô mon Dieu: Détruisit tous Tes ennemis.
+ Ô mon Seigneur par la grandeur de Ta gloire: Tu écrasas l’ennemi impie: Et envoyas l’esprit de Ta colère: Et les consumas comme du chaume.

+ Tu envoyas Ton esprit et ils sombrèrent: Dans une mer qui n’a pas de fond: Dans les profondeurs de son fond ils s’installèrent: Comme du plomb dans des eaux profondes.
+ Qui est comme Toi parmi les dieux: Ô Seigneur qui est comme Toi: Glorifié dans Tes saints: Ils s’émerveillent de Toi.
