Μετα δε τον θανατον του Αχααβ, επανεστατησεν ο Μωαβ εναντιον του Ισραηλ.

And one of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried to Elisaie, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant feared the Lord: and the creditor is come to take my two sons to be his servants.

وسقط اخزيا من الكوّة التي في علّيته التي في السامرة فمرض وارسل رسلا وقال لهم اذهبوا اسألوا بعل زبوب اله عقرون ان كنت ابرأ من هذا المرض.

Και επεσεν ο Οχοζιας δια του δρυφρακτου του υπερωου αυτου, το οποιον ητο εν Σαμαρεια, και ηρρωστησε· και απεστειλε μηνυτας, ειπων προς αυτους, Υπαγετε, ερωτησατε τον Βεελ-ζεβουλ, τον θεον της Ακκαρων, αν εχω να αναλαβω απο της αρρωστιας ταυτης.

And Elisaie said, What shall I do for thee? tell me what thou hast in the house. And she said, Thy servant has nothing in the house, except oil wherewith I anoint myself.

فقال ملاك الرب لايليا التشبي قم اصعد للقاء رسل ملك السامرة وقل لهم أليس لانه لا يوجد في اسرائيل اله تذهبون لتسألوا بعل زبوب اله عقرون.

Αλλ' ο αγγελος Κυριου ειπε προς Ηλιαν τον Θεσβιτην, Σηκωθητι, αναβα εις συναντησιν των μηνυτων του βασιλεως της Σαμαρειας και ειπε προς αυτους, Επειδη δεν ειναι Θεος εν τω Ισραηλ, δια τουτο υπαγετε να ερωτησητε τον Βεελ-ζεβουλ, τον θεον της Ακκαρων;

And he said to her, Go, borrow for thyself vessels without of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.

فلذلك هكذا قال الرب ان السرير الذي صعدت عليه لا تنزل عنه بل موتا تموت فانطلق ايليا.

Τωρα λοιπον ουτω λεγει ο Κυριος· Δεν θελεις καταβη απο της κλινης, εις την οποιαν ανεβης, αλλ' εξαπαντος θελεις αποθανει. Και ανεχωρησεν ο Ηλιας.

And thou shalt go in and shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and thou shalt pour forth into these vessels, and remove that which is filled.

ورجع الرسل اليه فقال لهم لماذا رجعتم.

Και επεστρεψαν οι μηνυται προς αυτον· ο δε ειπε προς αυτους, Δια τι επεστρεψατε;

And she departed from him, and shut the door upon herself and upon her sons: they brought the vessels near to her, and she poured in until the vessels were filled.

فقالوا له صعد رجل للقائنا وقال لنا اذهبوا راجعين الى الملك الذي ارسلكم وقولوا له هكذا قال الرب اليس لانه لا يوجد في اسرائيل اله ارسلت لتسال بعل زبوب اله عقرون. لذلك السرير الذي صعدت عليه لا تنزل عنه بل موتا تموت.

Και ειπον προς αυτον, Ανθρωπος τις ανεβη εις συναντησιν ημων και ειπε προς ημας, Υπαγετε, επιστρεψατε προς τον βασιλεα, οστις σας απεστειλε, και ειπατε προς αυτον, ουτω λεγει Κυριος· Επειδη δεν ειναι Θεος εν τω Ισραηλ, δια τουτο στελλεις να ερωτησης τον Βεελ-ζεβουλ, τον θεον της Ακκαρων; δεν θελεις λοιπον καταβη απο της κλινης, εις την οποιαν ανεβης, αλλ' εξαπαντος θελεις αποθανει.
English
And she said to her sons, Bring me yet a vessel. And they said to her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

فقال لهم ما هي هيئة الرجل الذي صعد للقائكم وكلمكم بهذا الكلام.

Και ειπε προς αυτους, Οποια ητο η μορφη του ανθρωπου, οστις ανεβη εις συναντησιν σας και ελαλησε προς εσας τους λογους τουτους;

And she came and told the man of God: and Elisaie said, Go, and sell the oil, and thou shalt pay thy debts, and thou and thy sons shall live of the remaining oil.

فقالوا له انه رجل اشعر متنطق بمنطقة من جلد على حقويه. فقال هو ايليا التشبي.

Και απεκριθησαν προς αυτον, Ανθρωπος δασυτριχος και περιεζωσμενος την οσφυν αυτου με ζωνην δερματινην. Και ειπεν, Ηλιας ο Θεσβιτης ειναι.

And a day came, when Elisaie passed over to Soman, and there was a great lady there, and she constrained him to eat bread: and it came to pass as often as he went into the city, that he turned aside to eat there.

فارسل اليه رئيس خمسين مع الخمسين الذين له فصعد اليه واذا هو جالس على راس الجبل. فقال له يا رجل الله الملك يقول انزل.

Τοτε απεστειλεν ο βασιλευς προς αυτον πεντηκονταρχον μετα των πεντηκοντα αυτου. Και ανεβη προς αυτον· και ιδου, εκαθητο επι της κορυφης του ορους. Και ειπε προς αυτον, Ανθρωπε του Θεου, ο βασιλευς ειπε, Καταβα.

And the woman said to her husband, See now, I know that this is a holy man of God who comes over continually to us.

فاجاب ايليا وقال لرئيس الخمسين ان كنت انا رجل الله فلتنزل نار من السماء وتأكلك انت والخمسين الذين لك. فنزلت نار من السماء وأكلته هو والخمسين الذين له.

Και αποκριθεις ο Ηλιας ειπε προς τον πεντηκονταρχον, Εαν εγω ημαι ανθρωπος του Θεου, ας καταβη πυρ εξ ουρανου και ας καταφαγη σε και τους πεντηκοντα σου. Και κατεβη πυρ εκ του ουρανου και κατεφαγεν αυτον και τους πεντηκοντα αυτου.
English
Let us now make for him an upper chamber, a small place; and let us put there for him a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall come to pass that when he comes in to us, he shall turn in thither.

ثم عاد وارسل اليه رئيس خمسين آخر والخمسين الذين له. فاجاب وقال له يا رجل الله هكذا يقول الملك اسرع وانزل.

Και απεστειλε προς αυτον παλιν αλλον πεντηκονταρχον μετα των πεντηκοντα αυτου. Και ελαλησε και ειπε προς αυτον, Ανθρωπε του Θεου, ουτω λεγει ο βασιλευς· Ταχεως καταβα.

And a day came, and he went in thither, and turned aside into the upper chamber, and lay there.

And he said to Giezi his servant, Call me this Somanite. and he called her, and she stood before him.

ثم عاد فارسل رئيس خمسين ثالثا والخمسين الذين له. فصعد رئيس الخمسين الثالث وجاء وجثا على ركبتيه امام ايليا وتضرع اليه وقال له. يا رجل الله لتكرم نفسي وانفس عبيدك هؤلاء الخمسين في عينيك.

Και αναβας ο τριτος πεντηκονταρχος ηλθε και εγονατισεν εμπροσθεν του Ηλια και παρεκαλεσεν αυτον και ειπε προς αυτον; Ανθρωπε του Θεου, ας σταθη, δεομαι, αξιοτιμητος εις τους οφθαλμους σου ζωη μου και η ζωη των δουλων σου τουτων των πεντηκοντα·

And he said to him, Say now to her, Behold, thou hast taken all this trouble for us; what should I do for thee? Hast thou any request to make to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she said, I dwell in the midst of my people.

And he said to Giezi, What must we do for her? and Giezi his servant said, Indeed she has no son, and her husband is old.

Και ειπεν ο αγγελος του Κυριου προς τον Ηλιαν, Καταβα μετ' αυτου· μη φοβηθης απ' αυτου. Και εσηκωθη και κατεβη μετ' αυτου προς τον βασιλεα.

And he called her, and she stood by the door.

Και ειπε προς αυτον, Ουτω λεγει Κυριος· Επειδη απεστειλας μηνυτας να ερωτησωσι τον Βεελ-ζεβουλ, τον θεον της Ακκαρων, ως εαν δεν ητο Θεος εν τω Ισραηλ δια να ζητησης τον λογον αυτου, δια τουτο δεν θελεις καταβη απο της κλινης, εις την οποιαν ανεβης, αλλ' εξαπαντος θελεις αποθανει.

And Elisaie said to her, At this time next year, as the season is, thou shalt be alive, and embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, do not lie to thy servant.

فمات حسب كلام الرب الذي تكلم به ايليا. وملك يهورام عوضا عنه في السنة الثانية ليهورام بن يهوشافاط ملك يهوذا لانه لم يكن له ابن.

Και απεθανε κατα τον λογον του Κυριου, τον οποιον ελαλησεν ο Ηλιας· εβασιλευσε δε αντ' αυτου ο Ιωραμ, εν τω δευτερω ετει του Ιωραμ, υιου του Ιωσαφατ, βασιλεως του Ιουδα· επειδη δεν ειχεν υιον.

And the woman conceived, and bore a son at the very time, as the season was, being alive, as Elisaie said to her.
