التفسير الأول للبردنوهي
+ أَنَا أَفْتَحُ فَمِي وَأَتَكَلَّمُ: وَأُمَجِّدُ مَرْيَمَ Ϯⲡⲁⲣⲑⲉⲛⲟⲥ (تِي بَارْثِينُوس): قَدْ حَوَتِ اَلسِّرَّ اَلْأَعْظَمَ: سَكَنَ فِيهَا اَلرَّبُّ اَلْقُدُّوسُ.
+ كَمَا كَانَ قَدْ وَعَدَ آدَمَ: يَجِيءُ وَيُعِيدُهُ إِلَى اَلْفِرْدَوْسِ: أَوْفَى اَلْمُدَّةَ وَالْوَعْدَ أَتَمَّ: بِطَهَارَةِ بِكْرٍ وَعَرُوسٍ.
+ أَخَذَ جَسَدًا مِنْ مَرْيَمَ: بَشَرِيٌّ كَامِلٌ مَنْظُورٌ مَلْمُوسٌ: عَظِيمُ اَلْمَجْدِ وَمُكَرَّمٌ: بِلُغَاتِ رُتَبِ Ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ (نِي أَنْجِيلُوس).
+ أَحْيَا آدَمَ مِنْ بَعْدِ عَدَمٍ: وَخَلَّصَهُ مِنْ ضِيقِ اَلْحُبُوسِ: وَأَعَادَهُ مُبَجَّلًا وَمُكَرَّمًا: آدَمُ وَبَنُوهُ فَرْحَانُ مَأْنُوسٌ.
+ بِطَهَارَةِ مَنْ صَارَتْ مَرْهَمَ: تَدَاوَى كُلُّ أَجْسَادٍ وَنُفُوسٍ: مَرْيَمُ هِيَ كَنْزٌ مُعَظَّمٌ: مُخْتَارَةٌ لِلرَّبِّ اَلْقُدُّوسِ.
+ وَحُصُونُ اَلشَّرِّ بِهَا تَنْهَدِمُ: بِرَسْمِ إِشَارَةِ ⲡⲓⲥ̀ⲧⲁⲩⲣⲟⲥ (بِي إِسْتَافْرُوس): بَرِئَ اَلْأَعْمَى وَنَطَقَ اَلْأَبْكَمُ: مِنْ سَائِرِ اَلطَّوَائِفِ اَلْجُنُوسِ.
+ اَلسَّلَامُ لَكِ يَا أُمَّ اَلْإِلَهِ: جِيرِينَا قُدَّامَ اِبْنِكِ: لِيُسَامِحَنَا نَحْنُ اَلْخُطَاةَ: بِصَلَاتِكِ وَشَرَفِ جِنْسِكِ.
+ I open my mouth and speak: and glorify Mary Ϯⲡⲁⲣⲑⲉⲛⲟⲥ (the Virgin): She contained the greatest mystery: the Holy Lord dwelt within her.
+ As He had promised Adam: He comes and restores him to Paradise: He fulfilled the time and the promise: through the purity of a Virgin and Bride.
+ He took a body from Mary: a complete human visible and tangible: Great in glory and honored: by the tongues of the ranks of Ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ (the Angels).
+ He revived Adam after non-existence: and saved him from the distress of the prisons: and restored him honored and glorified: Adam and his children joyful and comforted.
+ By the purity of her who became an ointment: all bodies and souls were healed: Mary is a glorified treasure: chosen for the Holy Lord.
+ And the fortresses of evil are demolished by her: by the sign of the ⲡⲓⲥ̀ⲧⲁⲩⲣⲟⲥ (the Cross): the blind was healed and the mute spoke: from all nations and kinds.
+ Peace be to you O Mother of God: intercede before Your Son: that He may forgive us sinners: through Your prayers and the honor of Your lineage.
+ Ich öffne meinen Mund und spreche: und verherrliche Maria Ϯⲡⲁⲣⲑⲉⲛⲟⲥ (die Jungfrau): Sie enthielt das größte Geheimnis: der heilige Herr wohnte in ihr.

+ Er belebte Adam nach dem Nichtsein: und rettete ihn aus der Not der Gefängnisse: und stellte ihn geehrt und verherrlicht wieder her: Adam und seine Kinder fröhlich und getröstet.
+ Durch die Reinheit derjenigen: die zur Salbe wurde: wurden alle Leiber und Seelen geheilt: Maria ist ein verherrlichter Schatz: auserwählt für den heiligen Herrn.
+ Und die Festungen des Bösen werden durch sie niedergerissen: durch das Zeichen des ⲡⲓⲥ̀ⲧⲁⲩⲣⲟⲥ (Kreuzes): der Blinde wurde geheilt und der Stumme sprach: aus allen Völkern und Arten.
+ Friede sei mit Dir o Mutter Gottes: bitte vor Deinem Sohn: damit Er uns Sünder vergebe: durch Deine Gebete und die Ehre Deines Geschlechts.
+ J'ouvre ma bouche et je parle: et je glorifie Marie Ϯⲡⲁⲣⲑⲉⲛⲟⲥ (la Vierge): Elle a contenu le plus grand mystère: le Seigneur Saint a habité en elle.
+ Comme Il l'avait promis à Adam: Il vient et le ramène au Paradis: Il a accompli le temps et la promesse: par la pureté d'une Vierge et Épouse.
+ Il a pris un corps de Marie: un homme complet visible et tangible: Grand en gloire et honoré: par les langues des rangs des Ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ (Anges).
+ Il a fait revivre Adam après le néant: et l'a sauvé de la détresse des prisons: et l'a rétabli honoré et glorifié: Adam et ses enfants joyeux et consolés.
+ Par la pureté de celle qui est devenue un onguent: tous les corps et les âmes ont été guéris: Marie est un trésor glorifié: choisie pour le Seigneur Saint.
+ Et les forteresses du mal sont démolies par elle: par le signe de la ⲡⲓⲥ̀ⲧⲁⲩⲣⲟⲥ (Croix): l'aveugle a été guéri et le muet a parlé: de toutes les nations et genres.
+ Paix à toi ô Mère de Dieu: intercède devant Ton Fils: afin qu'Il nous pardonne nous pécheurs: par Tes prières et l'honneur de Ta lignée.
+ Abro mi boca y hablo: y glorifico a María Ϯⲡⲁⲣⲑⲉⲛⲟⲥ (la Virgen): Ella contuvo el mayor misterio: el Señor Santo habitó en ella.
+ Como Él había prometido a Adán: Él viene y lo devuelve al Paraíso: Él cumplió el tiempo y la promesa: mediante la pureza de una Virgen y Esposa.
+ Él tomó un cuerpo de María: un hombre completo visible y tangible: Grande en gloria y honrado: por las lenguas de los rangos de los Ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ (Ángeles).
+ Él revivió a Adán después de la nada: y lo salvó de la angustia de las prisiones: y lo restauró honrado y glorificado: Adán y sus hijos alegres y consolados.
+ Por la pureza de aquella que se convirtió en ungüento: todos los cuerpos y almas fueron sanados: María es un tesoro glorificado: elegida para el Señor Santo.
+ Y las fortalezas del mal son demolidas por ella: por el signo de la ⲡⲓⲥ̀ⲧⲁⲩⲣⲟⲥ (Cruz): el ciego fue sanado y el mudo habló: de todas las naciones y géneros.
+ Paz a ti oh Madre de Dios: intercede ante Tu Hijo: para que Él nos perdone a nosotros pecadores: mediante Tus oraciones y el honor de Tu linaje.
