Και ειπε Κυριος προς εμε, Υπαγε ετι, αγαπησον γυναικα, ητις καιτοι αγαπωμενη υπο του φιλου αυτης ειναι μοιχαλις, κατα την αγαπην του Κυριου προς τους υιους Ισραηλ, οιτινες ομως επιβλεπουσιν εις θεους αλλοτριους και αγαπωσι φιαλας οινου.
English
And the Lord said to me, Go yet, and love a woman that loves evil things, an adulteress, even as the Lord loves the children of Israel, and they have respect to strange gods, and love cakes of dried grapes.

Και ειπα προς αυτην, Θελεις καθησει δι' εμε πολλας ημερας· δεν θελεις πορνευσει και δεν θελεις εισθαι δι' αλλον· και εγω ομοιως θελω εισθαι δια σε.

And I said unto her, Thou shalt wait for me many days; and thou shalt not commit fornication, neither shalt thou be for another man; and I will be for thee.

Διοτι οι υιοι Ισραηλ θελουσι καθησει πολλας ημερας χωρις βασιλεως και χωρις αρχοντος και χωρις θυσιας και χωρις αγαλματος και χωρις εφοδ και θεραφειμ.

For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an altar, and without a priesthood, and without manifestations.

Μετα ταυτα θελουσιν επιστρεψει οι υιοι Ισραηλ και θελουσι ζητησει Κυριον τον Θεον αυτων και Δαβιδ τον βασιλεα αυτων· και θελουσι φοβεισθαι τον Κυριον και την αγαθοτητα αυτου εν ταις εσχαταις ημεραις.

And afterward shall the children of Israel return, and shall seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall be amazed at the Lord and at his goodness in the latter days.

They have sacrificed on the tops of the mountains, and on the hills they have sacrificed under the oak and poplar, and under the shady tree, because the shade was good: therefore your daughters shall go a-whoring, and your daughters-in-law shall commit adultery.

And I will not visit upon your daughters when they shall commit fornication, nor your daughters-in-law when they shall commit adultery: for they themselves mingled themselves with harlots, and sacrificed with polluted ones, and the people that understood not entangled itself with a harlot.
